Job Description
We are looking for a Substitute Teacher Recruiter that can recruit full-cycle nationwide, exceed hiring goals, guide candidates through the recruiting process, and collaborate with business development managers to determine school staffing needs. This position consistently recruits during the entire year. The right fit will creatively use tools and sources to mine candidates from a variety of mediums. You will be selecting and hiring the best qualified candidates to service our school district partners, assisting your candidates through the onboarding process, collecting all documents to complete a fully qualified packet for our schools to review and guiding candidates through their training and professional development. This position may include limited travel to recruiting events and to assigned territories.
We are looking for the right candidate that can work remotely in the Nashville, Memphis or Greater Tennessee area.
Responsibilities:
- Post openings with online sites, social media accounts, newspaper advertisements, professional organizations, and other position-appropriate venues.
- Vet all candidates to assess their experience, reliability, and commitment to education.
- Maintain candidate engagement during the screening and selection process.
- Contact, track, and assist applicants through the application process.
- Document collection from candidates and governing states, including; college transcripts, criminal release forms, and background checks as required.
- Post open positions on company-sponsored social media sites, job boards, and website.
- Build and develop partnerships with community organizations/groups and college/university contacts.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, employees, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in recruiting at a school district or educational staffing company.
- 2-5 years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Demonstrated successful experience in the areas of local and national recruitment planning and candidate engagement.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
- Flexible with start times based on business needs
- Ability to maintain confidential materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft programs
