The Coding Network, LLC (TCN) is the country’s premier broker of remote coding and auditing services, structured as a virtual company connecting healthcare professionals and health systems across the US with over 800 single specialty coders and auditors.
Flexible Hours:
We understand that everyone’s schedule is different and, as such, auditors enjoy the flexibility to work as few as 15 hours a week to however many hours work for them. It is one thing to have the freedom to work from home, but TCN auditors possess the freedom to utilize the full 24 hour clock and choose when to work beyond the traditional 9-5. Position & Responsibilities: In order to support the growing need for E&M services, there are abundant opportunities for coders and auditors across many different specialties.
Here is a list of TCN’s immediate needs:
Immediate E&M Coder Specialties:
E&M Family Practice / Internal Medicine
E&M Dermatology
E&M General Surgery

E&M Wound CareResponsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes using ICD-9, ICD-10, and other coding systems
- Ensure accurate and timely coding of diagnoses, procedures, and services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and obtain necessary information for coding purposes
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical billing processes as needed
Requirements:
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred
- Proficient in ICD-9, ICD-10, and other coding systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding is a plus
