Remote Tutor/ Instructor Part-Time - up to 20 hours/week

Neuro-development of Words, LLC is urgently hiring exceptional remote tutors/instructors interested in joining a dynamic, caring and dedicated team that provides cutting-edge treatment services for children and young adults with learning challenges such as Dyslexia, difficulty spelling, or retaining information.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for empowering children and making a lasting difference in our clients' lives. We welcome applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Journalism, English, or Elementary Education (or similar), as well as high school or college educators.

The Neuro-development of Words, LLC methodology is based on the latest scientific research regarding neuroplasticity (efficient, long-lasting learning). Our methodology is evidence-based and peer-reviewed. Our programs address reading and spelling, comprehension, writing and math.

The demand for online tutors has exploded and the NOW! Programs is excited to add more Tutor/Instructor staff to meet that demand.

Applicants must be:

1. Available M - F: daily 8:45am - 9:45am (every day, no exceptions); AND

2. Available 3 additional hours DAILY M - F: between 7 am - 9pm EST (peak demand periods generally 7am - 10am EST and 6pm-8pm EST) (every day, same time each day, no exceptions).

Available times for the 3 additional hours of availability do NOT need to be consecutive, but must start at the top of the hour, e.g., 7 am, 5pm, 6pm, and so on.

3. Be available to attend all of the following online, live, interactive and PAID training activities:

a. Attend Stage 1 Training: DAILY November 27th - December 1st, 9:45 am -12: 45 pm EST

b. Attend Stage 2 Training: DAILY December 4th - 6th; 9:45 am - 12:45 pm EST

c. Observe and/or accept ongoing student assignments at the same time each day: beginning Dec 7th

d. Attend Stage 3 Training: DAILY January 8th - 10th, 9:45 am - 12:45 pm EST

e. Attend Stage 4 Training: DAILY February 12th - 14th, 9:45 am - 12:45 pm EST

Instructors must be present for ALL training days in a Stage to receive compensation for that Stage. Training time is paid after 90 days of service. Additionally, applicants must be available for immediate and ongoing contract work following training.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Instructing students in a 1:1 or small group (up to 1:4) online setting using pre-designed NOW! Programs material.
• Completing behavior and attention logs for client after each session.
• Updating online progress flow charts daily.

(No need to worry about scheduling students, collecting payments, or parent communication. We take care of that.)

Applicants must:

• Successfully complete online/live instructor-led trainings (dates listed above)
• Successfully complete online, self-led TECH training (approx. 30 min.)
• Submit to a background check conducted by or on behalf of the Company
• Have reliable high-speed internet connection
• Possess a desktop or laptop computer in order to provide eTutoring services. Windows and Apple are supported. (iPads, Kindles, Chromebooks and other tablet devices will not suffice.)
• Possess working web camera, headphones with a microphone and a mouse in order to interact with students in our online workspace. (Trackpads and touchscreens are not sufficient.)
