Description
DCG is seeking a talented Research Associate to support multiple projects on behalf of several federal government clients. In this role, you will report to and partner closely with our Senior Research Associate, learning DCG’s research processes, setting up and carrying out fieldwork (including virtual), evaluating data, drafting reports and proposals, managing client requests and vendors, overseeing administrative functions, and much more!
If you are passionate about research that improves lives on topics such as human trafficking prevention and optimizing health care for Veterans, and have a strong appetite to learn and grow with the role and the expanding needs of our research clients, then this opportunity is for you!
Location: DCG is made up of a fully remote workforce. The selected candidate will work during DCG’s core Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
Position Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience, including prior experience as a research assistant or consultant
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to self-manage time, projects, and priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A voracious appetite for learning and ability to ask thoughtful questions while working independently
- Compassion for and desire to make the world better for underserved populations
- Passion about research and project management
- Superior attention to detail, organization, critical thinking, and ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects, often on a tight deadline
- Proven trustworthiness and ownership of assigned work
- Ability to build and nurture client and vendor relationships
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in public policy and/or field research
- Understanding of qualitative research methods
