Description
Department Information
This part time position under the supervision of Professor Yong K. Cho, will work on interactive website development required by research projects. Tasks would include updating the research projects websites, database design, and monitoring and making updates as needed to the projects websites. The position would average 8-10 hours a week, as needed.
Job Summary
Provide administrative and organizational support for research programs(s) conducted within a unit or center. Areas of involvement include program event management, database maintenance, records management, budget administration, and outreach.This position will interact on a regular basis with: Unit management, staff, and representatives of sponsoring agencies. This position typically will advise and counsel: Unit staff. This position will supervise: N/A
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Develop and maintain multiple databases and record management systems.
Job Duty 2 -
Maintain records and tracking budget expenses on research and evaluation projects.
Job Duty 3 -
Coordinate and track all research and evaluation group research activities including data collection, staff meetings, and purchasing and organization of project needs.
Job Duty 4 -
Compile data, prepare reports and presentations for research projects.
Job Duty 5 -
Make arrangements for meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Job Duty 6 -
Coordinate program outreach and marketing efforts.
Job Duty 7 -
May maintain program related website and/or social media platform.
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Two to three years of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS
This job requires a working knowledge of program organization and administration within a research/technology oriented environment; skills in budget administration, document production and management, records management, event management, problem solving and office organization; proficiency using office related computer applications; strong written and verbal communication skills.
