Description
Sales Support Coordinator - Heavy construction Equipment
This position will be responsible for coordinating with the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation, and information. This position will directly report to VP of Sales and Marketing. Responsible for assisting the Sales team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist sales team (West Region) with the sales process and preparation of sales proposal.
- Assists Territory Sales Representatives with day-to-day operation of sales by contacting customers and prospects on a regular basis to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain a database of existing customers and sales prospects. The primary use of the database will be to organize customer contact.
- Coordinate, communicate and work alongside every department in the company (sales, parts, service, accounting, etc.)
- Follow up with customers to assure that they are satisfied with the products and services they have purchased.
- Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
- Assist with tradeshow development and execution.
- Assist in preparing campaigns for lead generation.
- Assist with sales and marketing activities such as surveys, direct mailers, and trade shows.
- Other assigned duties as per the needs of the organization.
Requirements and Skills
- Prior proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative position is a plus.
- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.
proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), report preparation - Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with high level of dedication.
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment industry.
Special Skills: This position requires a large amount of interaction and communication with customers and prospects to facilitate the sales process.
