Description
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by combining your technical expertise with your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will collaborate closely with our Clients, Sales and Client engagement teams to understand customer needs, provide technical insights, and demonstrate the value of our telehealth solutions. Responsibilities:
- Domain Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Carenet Health's products and services across the verticals of Payor, Provider, Health Services and Pharmacy, staying up-to-date with the latest features and industry trends. Serve as the primary sales engineer resource for the sales team.
- Curiosity and continuous learner: characteristics required for the position to continuously advance with the company and clients.
- Create urgency: The ability to create your own deadlines based on the needs of the clients and our internal teams.
- Always anticipating what is ahead and working to avoid concerns/constraints. Required to think quickly and be nimble to find optionality to get to yes.
- Solution Presentations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the unique benefits and functionalities of our solutions. Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and challenges
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with the Sales team to gather and understand customer requirements, pain points, and objectives. Translate these requirements into effective solutions that highlight the value proposition of our products.
- Sales Engineer Collaboration: Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients, helping them understand howCarenet Health's solutions can effectively address their challenges and goals.
- Proof of Concept: Lead the creation and execution of proof of concept (POC) initiatives to showcase the feasibility and effectiveness of our solutions in real-world scenarios.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and client engagement, IT to ensure seamless communication and alignment of information throughout the sales process.
- Client Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders at potential and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Market Insights: Provide valuable feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights, contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of our solutions.
- Requirements Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation, including solution designs, integration guidelines, 18 month persistent roadmap and best practices, to support the sales processes.
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, or similar role in the industry. Preference for healthcare experience with digital CX.
- Strong solution aptitude and ability to understand complex healthcare concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information to the buyer audience.
- Proficiency in explaining journey mapping, implementation processes, managing expectations with the client and internal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and understand customer needs.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Anticipate 20%-25% travel requirement.
- Ability to develop the collateral alongside marketing as the industry continues to rapidly change.
- Some support of spark page and updates as needed for enterprise level prospects.
- Experience with solutions or healthcare technology is a plus.
- This role does include a Base salary plus Sales Incentive Plan. This role is a commission role.
- The role requires measurements that are managed each month by your manager on your progress to defined goals and
objectives.
