Summary:
Security Engineer managing the process, governance and configurations of security tools.

Education/Experience.

Skills and Competencies:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge of computer software, such as security tools, email security, EDR, privilege management, Identity, configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to understand customer needs.
Coordinate with network operations.
Coordinate with Infrastructure teams to manage, govern and enable security capabilities including email security, EDR,
Microsoft security capabilities.
The ability to design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.
Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
Develop and implement security solutions in partnerships with security architects.
Develop/implement conceptual, logical or physical security paterns .
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
