Full job description

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, fun, and creative individual to conduct an on-line Science Experiments class. You will be teaching a small group of children. You may need to write up lesson plans, so being comfortable with writing a lot is required.

Please note: This is a very part-time job, which meets 1 hour per week. This job is ideal for a student, parent, retired educator, or someone who is looking to gain job training experience.

Where (location): virtual/on-line
Schedule Saturday and Sunday--anytime during the daytime.

Qualifications:

* Experience working with children--strongly prefer someone with experience tutoring or teaching children (this can be formal or informal work experience, such as childcare, tutoring peers at school or siblings)

* Strong skills in and knowledge of STEM learning, in particularly in the sciences

* Strong skills and knowledge in the subject you are teaching (you may be required to demonstrate what you know during your interview)

* Experience with ZOOM and using Zoom features

* Professional, responsible, and mature

* Basic computer skills, such as: powerpoint, word docs, etc.

* Comfortable teaching a small class (you will receive training on this)

* Participate in staff trainings

Pay: $55 per class taught
