Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting and working with the other portfolio analysts in providing valuable insights and contributing to the overall success of the investment management team. Duties include cash management, bank administration, wire transfers, and SPE portfolio management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the daily cash process which includes cash settlement between SPE’s.
- Identify and provide recommendations on trends, patterns, and opportunities for portfolio optimization.
- Propose portfolio risk mitigation strategies when necessary.
- Interpret legal documents and debt covenants associated with each portfolio.
- Prepare Borrowing Bases and Monthly Servicer Reports for SPE’s.
- Develop and understand the correlation between excel-based financial models and the legal documents from which they are derived.
- Lead the maintenance and distribution of monthly investor certificates, which encompass the intricacies of securitization such as receivables, finance/principal collections, delinquencies, charge-offs, performance triggers, note structure & interest calculations.
- Compile and manage the distribution of various external reporting requirement documents, as well as maintain documentation for securitization processes & controls.
- Prepare various performance forecasts & cash flow analysis to identify risks and to ensure Atlanticus follows the investor’s contractual guidelines.
- Maintain the cash balances and review all cash management transactions.
- Identifies the purpose of cash movements and follows up on execution of wire transfers.
- Performs daily purchases of newly originated loans from Company’s partners.
- Performs daily bank account reconciliation which includes previous day wire reconciliation.
- Processes miscellaneous deposits items in the corporate bank accounts.
- Executes wire transfers and other funding necessary to balance the Company’s cash position.
- Writes and updates treasury desktop procedures.
- Assists in opening, maintaining, and closing bank accounts.

- College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics required; MBA or Chartered Financial Analyst certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in securitization or warehouse lending.
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of wire transfer, ACH execution, and banking platforms.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The role has no direct staff management responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and sit for a minimum of 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the logistics duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers, printers, and other light traffic noise in an office setting.
This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
