Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Engineer

Role: SDET Engineer

• Duration: 12 months+ (extendable contract)
• Remote role
• EST working hours
• Only Green card holders and US Citizens are eligible.
• Cannot work on c2c
• Can do w2 contract only.
• Experience as a SDET is a must
• Experience with Java/.Net coding/programming (Basic/intermediate level)

Must have skills/ key skills
Strong experience working with API / services
Strong in one scripting language (Java/ Python/Java script)
have hands on experience with cloud services – specifically storage/ database / data analytical services with AWS

Qualifications:

Education/Requirements/Technical Competencies:

• 7+ years’ experience with software development and testing or 4 year college degree
• 4+ years Software Development or SDET experience
• 2+ years experience with AWS Cloud technologies
• 2+ years of automated software testing
• Experience with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
• Knowledge and experience with SDLC
• Experience developing and executing test cases
• Experience with testing batch processes
• Expereince on Java coding/programming will be great to have

Experience working with AWS cloud technologies is required

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a well-trained and motivated DEV/Test Engineer (SDET) who is passionate about testing software through automation. This role will include collaboration with external data providers and other partner teams.

You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to identify features, develop and automate system validation strategies to improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production. This position involves the test and validation of applications, databases, data transformations, and services in the overall application architecture.

Identify and implement solutions using internal and open-source tools & infrastructure Reviewing data integration solutions for conformity and functionality Working with other software engineers to understand product architecture and features

• Create and maintain scenarios to support development and test activities
• Working in an Agile environment to deliver high quality software
• Write and maintain test scenarios and scripts for Restful Services and API using advanced frameworks.
• Automation experience working with technologies like Java, Python, Java Script, C# .Net etc.
• Familiar with javascript based frameworks SQL and ability to write complex queries required

** Government client. If selected there will be extensive background and credit check, drug test and fingerprinting

Job Type: Contract

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
