Teletherapy at Presence
How does online therapy work?
Presence clinicians work with students and their support team—teachers, paraprofessionals or classroom aides, interventionists, school psychologists, parents, and other caregivers—via live video conferencing using the same techniques as traditional onsite services. Our modern therapy platform integrates audio and video for high fidelity, live interactions; provides clinicians with access to a large online library of therapy activities; and features scheduling and progress monitoring tools.
What licenses, credentials, and experience do I need?
You must be licensed in the state where you provide services (where the students/clients reside). To ensure we partner with highly qualified clinicians, speech-language pathologists must have an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and occupational therapists need NBCOT Certification. For school psychologists, NCSP certification is preferred, but not required. Depending on the state where you provide services, there may also be additional certifications/licenses required.
What hours can I work?
We partner with thousands of schools and can offer flexible scheduling options. Teletherapy opportunities are typically scheduled during school hours (8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) Many Presence clinicians obtain additional licenses to build a flexible schedule that works for them, sometimes working outside of their state of residence (and time zone) for alternative hours and placement opportunities.

Presence positions are 100% remote for ultimate schedule flexibility––because life’s not all about work. When you work for Presence, you come first.
