Job Description

• Must have worked on database migration projects.
• Experience in migrating databases to AWS environment.
• Experience and working knowledge of migrating MySQL to Aurora projects.
• Experience in AWS native platforms such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.
• Experience in AWS Migration Tools like DMS etc.
• Experience in providing migration approach, plan, and best practices.
• Experience in building databases with high availability(HA) in AWS
• Experience in building DB backups and disaster recovery of the database with data integrity and security.
• Experience in performance management, tuning of the databases to remove bottlenecks and ensuring availability.
• Provide support to application team while testing the databases.
• Work with DevOps team to build and deploy the DB scripts in various environment.
• Build database test cases to support the application team while testing the application.
• General database management activities like monitoring, procedures to purge, etc.
