Sr. Associate Treasury - US Remote

What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will play a crucial part in managing our organization's financial operations related to derivatives, investments, and retirement plan administration.
- Be the primary liaison with the bank custodian of Amgen’s retirement plans
- Work with external advisors and coordinate Fiduciary Committee reviews
- Support Amgen’s FX hedging program from trade inception to trade settlement
- Prepare monthly Treasury dashboards and risk metrics
- Support development of monthly trade strategies
- Support month-end close process related to derivatives and investments
- Support various treasury projects, interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance activities are performed according to Amgen’s policies and internal control environment; support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to enhance treasury processes through technological solutions and automation, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and market developments, and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization's treasury practices

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Finance experience
Or
Associate degree and 6 years of Finance experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Finance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or another quantitative field of study
- Detail oriented and able to handle fast paced environment while delivering timely results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and present results to senior management in a professional, clear and concise manner
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion and/or other large ERP and consolidation tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable supporting a wide range of client levels

This position will be paid on an hourly basis. The annualized base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $71,730 - $95,535.
