The pay range is $67,600.00 - $121,700.00

Last Mile Operations at Target is responsible for moving E-Commerce shipments from our unique Omnichannel fulfillment network to our Guests’ homes as well as supporting the sortation center strategy. More than 80% of that volume originates in over 1,400 of our Stores making Target the largest volume true Omnichannel shipper out there. Servicing the logistics and transportation out of that huge, distributed network with high volumes means a simultaneous microscopic attention to day-to-day detail as well as the ability to step back and think strategically in order to drive change within Target and with our carriers to fully leverage our Stores as Hubs strategy and provide maximum Best in Class Guest Experience.
As a Sr. Logistics Analyst – Last Mile Forecasting, you will be responsible for supporting Last Mile package forecasting and carrier capacity planning. Your objective is to align carrier package capacity with digital ship-to-home demand plans and drive operational excellence through accurate package volume projections down to the lowest level of granularity. Strong problem solving skills, ability to use data to make decisions, and being a collaborative team player are must have skills. You will need to connect with operational teams, network planning and S&OP teams, carrier partners, and other various HQ and field teams. It is also important that you be comfortable with rapid change and working ambiguously as digital demand continues to grow and the need for developing creative solutions with out of the box thinking is imperative to continue to meet guest’s expectations.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
About you:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of data analytics experience or relevant equivalent domain experience
- Expertise in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization software in a large-scale, complex business environment
- Experience working on Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Hive
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Creative approach to problem solving
- Experience forecasting and modeling
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to set goals or outcomes and track and communicate progress
- Can make decisions with little to no guidance from manager or other leaders
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or MBA
- Experience in distribution or transportation
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
