Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, depending on experience, with the potential to earn incentives based on performance
Typical Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm. This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work from home. Some weekend work and occasional travel for recruiting events is required (travel costs are reimbursed).

Talent Acquisition Specialist Expectations
- This is a new position at Harness Roofing, Inc., and you'll work hand-in-hand with leadership to craft winning recruiting strategies.
- You’ll be responsible for the entire end-to-end recruitment process: preparation, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring and onboarding.
- You will juggle multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities – writing and posting job ads, writing phone screen and interview questions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, making offers, onboarding new hires and attending career fairs and recruiting events.
- As a fast growing company with multiple locations, we have an ongoing need to hire roofers and waterproofers - you will be responsible for sourcing and hiring field labor to meet our growth goals.
- You’ll be collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, including staff, managers and candidates. You must be comfortable interacting with people via email, in-person and on the phone.
- You’ll be in charge of monitoring progress and hiring budgets, and will establish and keep track of KPI’s to measure success.
- You will select, launch and implement an Applicant Tracking System to track and manage job ads and candidates.
- You will build, develop and nurture candidate relationships, as well as relationships with organizations that provide recruiting opportunities.
- You’ll be solving issues quickly and efficiently, adapting to changes to ensure the candidate experience is excellent, while being mindful of our managers’ time.
- When challenges arise, maintain a positive attitude and a calm demeanor as you work towards a solution.
- We are looking for someone interested in boosting our social media presence to elevate our brand with customers and potential candidates!
Talent Acquisition Specialist Skills & Experience

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Located in the Mid-South region preferred, but not required
- Ability to travel as needed
- 2+ years’ recruiting and hiring experience required
- Ability to represent yourself professionally with your coworkers and our candidates
- Natural curiosity and problem solving ability
- Willingness to actively engage with candidates
- Thinks fast and enjoys challenges
- Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus!
