JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist (West Coast Recruiter)

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you are responsible to attract, identify, and recruit top talent to meet the company's hiring needs and strategic goals. You will utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other channels to identify potential candidates. You may perform other activities in multiple Human Resources areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent across all departments.
2. Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screening interviews, and assess candidates' suitability for specific roles including qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing.
3. Inform employee and 1099 Independent Contractor applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
5. Promote the company's employer brand and ensure that the organization is perceived as an attractive and desirable place to work.
6. Assist with the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
7. Work closely with hiring managers and other HR team members to understand hiring needs and to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and other recruiting sources to identify potential candidates.
9. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
10. Participate in career fairs, conferences, and other recruiting events to promote the company and attract top talent.
11. Maintain confidentiality of all employee and contractor records per HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position may require traveling between locations in your personal vehicle.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience. (Home Health and/or 1099 Independent Contractor experience is a plus)
3. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
7. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard, reach, stoop and kneel.
3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
4. Regular, predictable attendance is required as business demands dictate.
