The Talent Sourcing Specialist for DVM Talent will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential candidates to meet the national demand for veterinary doctors in our PetVet hospitals.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in utilizing various sourcing tools and methods, such as LinkedIn, conference sourcing, direct sourcing through email and text, to identify and engage with top-tier DVM candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive sourcing activities to identify and attract qualified DVM candidates for various PetVet hospital locations across the country.
- Utilize a combination of tools, including LinkedIn, industry conferences, and direct outreach via email and text, to establish connections with potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline of DVM candidates by engaging in ongoing communication and relationship-building efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the hiring team to understand the specific DVM talent requirements for each hospital location.
- Screen and assess potential candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and alignment with PetVet's values and culture.
- Generate interest and excitement among potential candidates about the opportunities available within the PetVet network.
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track and manage the sourcing process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and best practices in DVM talent sourcing and recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months of hands-on experience in talent sourcing, specifically focused on sourcing DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) talent.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging with high-quality DVM candidates through various sourcing methods.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, industry conferences, and direct outreach via email and text.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationship with potential candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate tracking and management of candidate data.
- Understanding of the veterinary industry and the specific skills and qualifications required for DVM roles.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to meet sourcing targets and deadlines.
