Description
Project Management with healthcare IT experience
InnoVet Health, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and emerging as a highly innovative company, provides health IT and professional services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can coordinate resources, tasks, deliverables, timeline, and interface with customers ensuring excellent delivery across multiple health knowledge management projects (clinical decision support). The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical project management, planning, organization, communication and meeting coordination skills. The position offers stimulating IT projects, in a rich healthcare management environment, interacting with senior staff. It is full-time and does not require relocating (remote position, work from home in the US). The pay, benefits, and growth potential are competitive. Green card or US citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage multiple client projects and scrum teams using Agile methodologies. Develop and maintain project plans including scope, tasks, assignments, timeline, dependencies, and risks.
- Provide coordination support to clinical informaticists, MDs, business analysts, and track activities for internal teams and help eliminate blockers
- Manage deliverables, track due dates, and conduct quality assurance before the release of deliverables to the customer
- Oversee project onboarding and offboarding processes, track paperwork with both VA and internal team members
- Use tools to monitor and approve timesheets & plans
- Actively take meeting minutes, organize action items, distribute meeting minutes to teams and customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a 5+ years of relevant experience with project management for medium and large teams.
- Healthcare IT and agile process background preferred.
- Fluent in Project Management tools – MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, OneNote, SharePoint and Teams.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers, handle customer issues, manage meetings, etc.
- Ability to organize information and present project status and issues to leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated; able to operate with minimal guidance. Interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, multi-tasking, organization skills and flexibility required.
- Excellent collaboration and communication (verbal and writing) skills.
- US citizen required. No Visa sponsorship can be supported.
