Job Summary:
As a Technical Support Specialist at Velocity Logic, your primary goal is to support our retail customers by assisting them with platform tasks and effectively managing reported bugs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible support and contribute to the ongoing development of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers through various communication channels, including email, chat, and phone.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to Velocity Logic's loyalty software products and services.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and report software bugs and issues promptly.
- Participate in software development projects, contributing to code writing, testing, and deployment as required.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs to aid customers and internal teams.
- Assist in the creation and execution of test plans for new software releases to ensure product quality and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Previous experience in providing technical support to customers or end-users is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
