Description
The Technology Project Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with the broader Information Technology team to provide high-quality project coordination for new construction projects, facilitate field service dispatch and handle IT procurement. This role will also be expected to collaborate with Information Technology colleagues on the development, revision, and implementation of the overall IT Strategy.
Location: Remote with up to 10% Travel expectation. Preference to candidates who reside in our states of operation: IL, MI, OH, MA, PA, MD, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain overall new store construction project planning for the technology perspective function.
- Attend and participate in construction project calls to represent the Information Technology team.
- Understand and communicate timeline changes or obstacles to functional and Information Technology teams.
- Develop new store equipment needs through collaboration with Retail Operations, Construction, and the Retail Technology team.
- Facilitate and coordinate technology equipment ordering and fulfillment for Point of Sale, Kiosk, Network Equipment, Music Systems, Digital Signage, etc.
- Manage project plans and timelines related to ongoing new store construction projects.
- Oversee field service dispatch for service calls; managing communication both internally and with service providers through issue completion.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for repeatable technology processes.
- Assist with general technology procurement.
- Ability to be on-call, work irregular hours, and travel (max 10%) as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years' business experience in an IT environment providing project management.
- Bachelor's degree in business or project management. Will accept a combination of relevant work experience, course work, and certifications.
- Ability to work independently, on a team, and a virtual team.
