Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Works with assigned customers/vendors to deploy business application systems and provides technical support in one or more information technology disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to user problems by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Troubleshoots most application problems independently.
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Possesses and applies working knowledge of at least one technology environment to address and resolve problems.
- Analyzes a chain of events and applies technical knowledge following established procedures and/or detailed specifications.
- Writes support documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards.
- Share knowledge effectively within the work team.
- Manages customer expectations and ensures prompt and complete customer service. Forms productive networks with internal and external customers and the vendor community.
- Participates in the design of technical requirements for the application/solution.
- Analyzes complex business and competitive issues and discerns the implications for systems support.
Complexity of Work:
- Within the scope of the job, it requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
- 2 year of application support experience required.
- 4 years of application support experience preferred.
- Clinical, Rev Cycle or ERP application experience preferred.
