Job Summary
Creates, analyzes, and supports provider and ancillary templates and scheduling configuration to maximize patient access for assigned operational units. Provides consultative support to operations on template implementation and configuration. Assures that provider and ancillary schedules are generated/modified efficiently and in a timely manner. In partnership with operations and IT, provides analysis, testing, documentation, problem resolution and implementation of solutions as they apply to scheduling within the organization.
Job Duties
- Optimizes template design and build through analysis of provider capacity and utilization statistics.
- Contributes knowledge of template design for strategic access initiatives and to ensure organizational access targets are achieved.
- Provides consultative support on slot utilization, optimizing templates across multiple departments.
- Provides consultative support on business requirements for new initiatives template and related maintenance.
- Responsible for implementation of all requests for building and maintaining assigned provider and ancillary schedules across multiple locations including specialty and ancillary services.
- Proactively identifies gaps in template and scheduling configurations.
- Maintains subgroups, provider to department mapping and visit type use in alignment with changes in Operations.
- Ensures structure of templates are accurate and in alignment with system standards and guidelines and are released timely to meet compliance.
- Ensures changes to cadence master files and related system configuration are submitted and completed timely and accurately.
- Analyzes template structure for accuracy, appropriateness, and validity prior to releasing the templates.
- Proactively meets with and creates partnership with operations leadership to coordinate optimal template designs, ensure appropriate maintenance and answer questions and solutions including system template standards.
- Works closely with the patient contact center leadership assigned to each department assuring that template and Cadence build are built to incorporate documented scheduling guidelines.
- Coordinates issues with external departments as needed for resolution.
- Reassignment of Template and Patients as needed, includes change appointment functionality.

- Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).

Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required), Associate's Degree- (Preferred)
