We are looking for someone with a working-from-home office setup to join our team.
We seek someone passionate about helping others achieve their full potential in our company and can do so with excellent communication and teaching skills. This person is motivated by seeing each new inspector through their initial 90-day training period and far beyond.
As part of our training team, you will meet with new inspectors one-on-one via telephone calls to walk them through the site inspection process and typing up the inspection report, ensuring all the data fields are completed correctly and that the information in the report meets our client’s requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach and train each new inspector (trainee) through their initial 90-day training period by utilizing the models, tools, and systems provided.
- Schedule regular meetings via phone with trainees to ensure they are meeting all of their training goals.
- Effectively communicate with supervisor any concerns with the trainees.
- Uphold and maintain all Training Department and Company expectations and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Be a self-starter and require little motivation.
- Follows directions and instructions carefully.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to teach others.

Strategic Asset Services (SAS) is based in Foothill Ranch, California and we are a nationwide commercial property inspection company providing inspection services to commercial lenders throughout the country utilizing a team of over 280 part-time employee inspectors who work from home. We specialize in securitized commercial real estate annual inspections, repair verification inspections, as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily property inspections. The scope of a typical property inspection includes observationally inspecting the exteriors and grounds of the property, interiors of the common areas, a percentage of occupied and vacant units, down (unrentable) units, amenities, roofs, and mechanical areas.
Our property inspector team are the eyes and ears of our clients (commercial lenders) and provide a typed report with photos for each property inspection.
Strategic Property Associates (SPA), our sister company, is a full outsourcing shop for the commercial mortgage industry, specifically the CMBS arena (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities). They provide a full array of services for our clients, including underwriting, loan assumptions, new loan set-up, reserve replacements, due diligence, and lender-generated annual property inspections.
