Trial Attorney – Temporary WFH in Glendale, CA

Our client is in need of a temporary experienced insurance defense attorney to handle complex and/or high-risk matters. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant civil litigation experience as well as substantive jury trial experience as lead counsel. Once training is completed, candidates can work from home.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide subject matter expertise on significant, high-risk and/or complex legal matters, representing clients in trials or hearings before all courts or agencies, including appeals and arbitrations;
• Work with clients to establish, communicate, and implement a Litigation Plan;
• Provide legal advice and foster relationships;
• Obtain meaningful discovery and participate in motions practice;
• Recognize, participate, and promote settlement opportunities;
• Cover court appearances.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must as well as a demonstrated proficiency interpreting insurance contracts and coverage issues. Must be proficient with Microsoft suite. Must be a member in good standing of the California Bar.

Job Types: Temporary, Full-time

Pay: $62.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Litigation: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Bar (Required)
