What will you be doing?
The Truckload Strategy Representative is responsible for collaborating with the ArcBest Field Sales team on truckload strategy development for existing customers. In this role, you are responsible for generating new truckload business in the small to medium-sized and middle market segments while strategically growing existing truckload opportunities alongside a Field Sales Representative. You are required to identify quality truckload opportunities, sell truckload solutions, and facilitate the onboarding process to the Account Management and Operations departments. You are ultimately managing the middle market truckload shipper experience and ensuring shipper satisfaction in a way that translates to ongoing truckload growth and aligns with MoLo’s core values.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy for small to medium-sized and middle market segment truckload volume growth, execution, and net revenue
- Research and prospect alongside the Field Sales team to develop a quality truckload pipeline
- Generate new small to medium-sized and middle market truckload customers and grow existing truckload opportunities with a Field Sales Representative
- Develop strong internal relationships with assigned Field Sales Representatives and act as the shipper-facing truckload expert on all truckload opportunities
- Execute truckload QBR strategy, truckload content development, and truckload shipper experience
- Assist with truckload contract negotiation conversations, onboarding, and ongoing execution strategy development
- Understand freight market trends and articulate impact on shippers’ networks
- Collaborate with the Yield department for pricing strategy and adjustments on new and existing truckload opportunities
- Travel to new and existing shippers to meet with key stakeholders
Requirements:
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in third-party logistics sales, account management or customer operations preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to think critically and strategically
- Possess strong sales skills, persuasive abilities, and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to develop truckload strategy
