The job of the Claims Analyst is to analyze and review unemployment claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining supporting documentation as it relates to the claim.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming claims within 48 hours of receipt of claim
- Document all claim activity in TNC Claims Management System
- Must be able to provide a timely and detailed response to all claims
- Coordination with state agencies, EX: return state calls and other requests when needed
- Responsible for returning all state calls within 4 business hours of receipt
- Responsible for all claim responses while adhering to proper template for the ageny, as notated in the claim's analyst handbook
- Respond to internal client emails, SHIELD (T&C system) discussions and voicemails regarding open claims within 4 business hours
- Check outgoing fax queue one hour prior to departure. All pending faxes should be brought to your Quality Control
- Supervisor's attention prior to departure.
- Always accept incoming calls when at desk, never send incoming calls to voicemail
- Must be efficient in recording proper separation / disposition codes
- Provide current and correct separation information to applicable State Agencies when
- Complete facility change form immediately upon receipt of information from client
- Maintain minimum efficiency and productivity benchmarks based on tenure of employment
- Respond to internal client emails, SHIELD (T&C system) discussions and voicemails regarding open claims within 4 business hours
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years experience with TPA UI Claim process
- Experience with Microsoft office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a fast, multi-tasking environment a plus
