Virtual Math Tutor Remote

At Tutor Me Today (TMT), we are looking for an experienced Virtual Math Tutor whoresides in Atlanta/Metro Atlanta. Must be well versed in at least 3 or more Math subjects listed below:

Middle School & High School Levels: **Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics AP Level**

Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans to address those needs
- Help students understand and apply concepts through interactive teaching methods
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Stay updated on current educational practices and resources
- Adhere to the student’s curriculum/syllabus - Submit daily progress reports for each student

Experience:

-2 years minimum experience as a tutor and with some experience in a virtual setting
-2 years minimum experience teaching Math with exceptional competency starting at Algebra I
- Possess a College Degree or Teaching Certificate
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Be punctual online for all scheduled sessions and well groomed
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Must have a quiet location to conduct each scheduled session
- Familiarity in using Zoom/webcam

Travel: 5% to attend school events 2 – 3 times on a monthly basis

**Must have a resume, furnished with three references.
