Virtual Medical Scribe for Research Project

BE A VIRTUAL MEDICAL SCRIBE IN AN EXCITING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT:

We are looking for a quick-learning, team-spirited individual to utilize your experience, skills and knowledge of scribing/healthcare documentation and apply it to a research project in the artificial intelligence (AI) area of documentation. You will review medical charts and listen to voice files and document findings and return it to the research team. This is not a LIVE transcription position.

Independent Contractor Position 1099. REMOTE: WORK AT HOME. Tell us the number of hours you are looking to work a day. PT or FT any hours between 8 am EST and 5 pm EST. Mon – Fri. Minimum 4 hrs. but can work more. Work is readily available for an immediate start. Training is done remotely. 1+ experience transcribing medical reports in some capacity, but orthopedic and primary care experience a PLUS.

PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour. Some productivity goals to meet post-training period.

Job Qualifications:

· Minimum of one year transcribing medical reports in some capacity.

· Adaptability to multi-task in an environment of changing protocols

· Ability to follow complex instructions logically with detailed accuracy and provide feedback.

· Excellent Communication and grammatical skills.

· Ability to write both verbatim and summary style reports

Job requirements

· Virtual setting, home internet required (no Satellite or DSL)

· Technical specifications: Bring your own PC or Mac with greater than 8GB memory

· Communicating with the data team regarding findings

· Excel application as a primary tool

· MS Word application

· Microsoft Teams application

· Zoom meetings

· Providing well-informed perspective and judgement while assessing the quality of pre-generated notes.

· Analyzing and communicating the reasoning for assessments/judgements made.

· Contribute to discussions for finding creative solutions for unique challenges.

Background

· Primary care scribing/transcription or orthopedic scribing/transcription background preferred.
