The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building impactful revenue growth within an early-stage and growth-focused business with an emphasis on SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) offerings. The successful candidate will have scaled up commercial organizations carrying technology solutions for global enterprise customers. Preferably, you will have worked directly with R&D and Business Development customers in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry. The VP of Sales will report directly to the CEO of the company.

- Drive aggressive revenue growth for the company to achieve its scale-up goals
- Lead and grow the Sales team. Designing and building the right team structure to deliver on Intelligencia's ambitious growth plans. Hiring and retaining the best global commercial talents.
- Drive the commercial 'go-to-market' strategy. Use your network and influence to help Intelligencia penetrate new potential partners, customers
- Creating linearity - you want to make your deal funnel as predictable as possible. To achieve this you will collate, analyze and assess the SaaS metrics, allowing for ever increasing efficiencies. You will be an advocate for technology and processes that enable your team.
- Represent the Company and its programs to external audiences, including the investment, medical and regulatory communities, as well as the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, collaborators, and partners.
- Be a thought partner in the Company's product roadmap.
- Present updates to the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and the Scientific Advisory Board.
- Support the commitment to data-driven decision-making and leading the use of key performance indicators/metrics to bring forward positive change and improve existing processes.
- Developing, teaching and maintaining best-in-class customer experience, revenue growth and retention practices. You will be striving to continuously nurture and develop your team.
- Playing a key leadership role at Intelligencia, representing the company internally and externally. You must be a champion of culture, embodying the company values continuously.
What you'll bring to the team
- A proven leader with demonstrable success in senior commercial leadership roles within growth stage businesses.
- The incoming candidate's domain experience will have been acquired in a B2B SaaS environment with experience of high velocity, digitally led sales to the Pharma and Life Sciences segment (deal sizes ranging from $100K to multi-million enterprise contracts).
- Track record of building revenue in a growth business, as well as strategic planning and execution, preferably in a high-quality SaaS organization.
- Experience of attracting / empowering exceptional talent and building / maintaining a high-performance sales organization.
- Understands the nuances of both inbound and outbound sales processes, the latest strategies and tooling and always with a systematic and data driven mindset.
- Experience of developing successful partnerships and channel relationships.
- Experience of working with customer success, marketing and product functions.
- Will have experience of new geographical market insertion and expansion.
- Analytical and data driven thinker who can process a large amount of information, identify critical issues and drive action accordingly.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills with an ability to adapt and work effectively and constructively with employees at all levels and in all parts of the company.
- Creative and resourceful mind with the right amount of structure, discipline and execution power.
- A team player, with the ability to relate well with co-workers, customers, partners and other stakeholders.
- Strong cultural alignment: ambitious and driven, hands-on, detail oriented, entrepreneurial, advocates trust and transparency, confident but self-critical, curious and hungry to learn.
- Experienced working at executive committee level building commercial SaaS organizations.
