Weekend Intake Specialist - Remote

Elevate Home Health is seeking a Remote Weekend Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team!

If you have a passion for making a difference and helping others, this position will be filled with meaningful interactions as you become the first point of contact for our Home Health patients.

• Must live in the state of California.
• Hours: Sat-Sun 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time Zone.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all incoming referrals from referral sources. You will play a crucial role in our mission to provide exceptional support and guidance for patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and process intake data from the agency referral sources
• Work closely with billing and accounting personnel in verifying and establishing authorization for treatment
• Obtain patient demographics, physician name, diagnosis, etc., to ensure referral information is complete
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with referral sources
• Interact directly with the sales team regarding incoming referrals
• Advise the Executive Director on current events, concerns, and operations
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and agency referral/intake requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Typing ability of at least 45 wpm and word processing experience
• Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a professional office environment, preferred
• Knowledge of organization policies, procedures and systems
• Ability to plan, coordinate, direct, and control the health services of the agency with an understanding of statistical recording and reporting
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports, and correspondence
• Demonstrate a strong public relations focus and customer-first orientation
• Ability to deal tactfully with the public and demonstrate a team mentality
